My Journey

My journey into the destination wedding industry began long before I became a specialist—it started when I was a bride.

At the time, I was working as a travel advisor and planning my own destination wedding in Punta Cana while living in Jamaica. Rather than hiring a planner, I researched every detail myself, from selecting the perfect venue to finding vendors that matched my vision, style, and budget. I spent countless hours coordinating logistics, communicating with suppliers, and bringing my dream wedding to life from another country.

Through that experience, I discovered how much I loved the wedding planning process. What started as planning my own wedding quickly became a passion for helping other couples create unforgettable destination celebrations. That passion inspired me to expand beyond travel planning and specialize in destination weddings.

Today, I combine my expertise in travel with firsthand experience as a destination bride to guide couples through every step of the process. I understand the excitement, the challenges, and the emotions that come with planning a wedding from afar because I’ve lived it myself.

Unlike many planners, I’ve experienced destination wedding planning from both sides—as a bride and as a professional. I know what couples need because I’ve been in their shoes. My approach focuses on simplifying the planning process, connecting couples with trusted partners, and creating a seamless experience from the initial consultation to the wedding day.

A destination wedding brings together two beautiful things: travel and celebration.

But behind the beautiful photographs are countless details—resort decisions, room blocks, guest questions, payments, travel arrangements and timelines.

I created Memories in Luxury Travel Services to help couples experience the beauty of a destination wedding without feeling responsible for every travel detail along the way.

I also understand this journey personally because I was a destination bride too. I remember late nights comparing resorts, reviewing contracts, and feeling overwhelmed by the many moving parts behind the scenes. I was excited about the location, but quickly realized how much coordination was involved and wished I had someone to simply say, "I've got this for you," so I could focus on enjoying the experience instead of managing it.

My passion is creating a journey where couples can focus on what truly matters: being present, celebrating their love and making memories with the people they love.
